Help Us Fund A Permanent Mercer County Democratic Headquarters
Friends, this is it. This is the moment we make history.
For the first time, Mercer County Democrats will have a home. A space that is ours—to meet, to organize, to train, to celebrate. A place where we can build our movement, strengthen our voices, and put our values into action. This is brave. This is bold. This is historic.
For too long, Democrats in our county have fought the good fight without a permanent base. We have met in borrowed spaces, gathered wherever we could, and worked tirelessly with no place to call our own. That changes today. The Mercer County Democratic Party Executive Committee has voted to lease a possible permanent space in Downtown Celina.
Now the hard work begins, fellow Democrats.
The new headquarters needs everything—tables, chairs, supplies, technology—everything we need to host meetings, trainings, and celebrations. But more importantly, it needs people. It needs you. We must commit to volunteering our time and talents to run this office and make it a hub of political action and community engagement.
This space belongs to all of us, and it will take all of us to sustain it.
We need your ideas. How should we use this space? What events should we hold? How do we make this headquarters the beating heart of Mercer County’s Democratic movement? This is our beginning.
To keep this permanent headquarters running, we need ongoing financial support. Even a small recurring donation makes a difference. Imagine if each of us committed to just $5 a month—that’s one less coffee, one small sacrifice, but a huge impact on keeping our headquarters strong. If you can help, please sign up for a monthly recurring donation today.
We will organize fundraising events, seek monthly sponsors, and get creative in securing the resources we need—it starts with you.
You are the foundation of the Mercer County Democratic Headquarters. Your names, your efforts, your dedication—this is the legacy we begin today. A legacy of action, progress, and unwavering belief in a better future for all of Mercer County.
In solidarity,
Sophia Rodriguez, Chair
Mercer County Democratic Party
